Candidacy Filing Information
The Maryland State Board of Elections has established a website to assist candidates with their filing process. The Dorchester County Board of Elections will continue to accept candidacy filing fees and financial disclosure statements. Candidacy Filing Packets are available at our office (1000 Goodwill Ave) for local races only. Candidates must request and submit paperwork in advance so that you are in a pre-filed status. This way, when you arrive for your appointment all you will have to do is review/sign documents and pay filing fee. Please call the office for available appointments at 410-228-2560.
